Paint scrapes
Exposed sections of paint provide evidence of early colour schemes used at Hyde Park Barracks. All the wall treatments restored in the building, except for the modern white, black and grey paint, have been match to these original colours: from lime washed convict brickwork, to the glazed burgundy and browns of the Victorian era, to 20th-century pastels and courtroom schemes.
